India Women 101 for 1 (Mithali Raj 55*, Poonam Raut 42*) beat Bangladesh Women 85 (Rumana Ahmed 21, Sravanthi Naidu 4-9) by 16 runs
Scorecard
A half-century from the opener Mithali Raj, followed by a four-wicket haul from the left-arm spinner Sravanthi Naidu helped India Women to a 16-run win against Bangladesh Women in Cox's Bazar. India, batting first, made 101 for 1 on the back of a 98-run stand for the second wicket between Raj and Poonam Raut after Latika Kumari had fallen for a duck in the fourth over. Raj struck four fours during her 55 not out while Raut's 46-ball 42 included two fours.
India did not let Bangladesh settle at all during their chase, as Shikha Pandey and Jhulan Goswami ran through the team's top order. Rumana Ahmed (21) was the only batter to make more than 20, as Naidu and Gouher Sultana dented Bangladesh's progress with wickets at regular intervals. Naidu eventually finished with 4 for 9, her best figures in limited-overs cricket, as Bangladesh folded for 85 in their 20 overs.
