2:50pm Well, that was a strange innings. WI lost four wickets inside the first three overs, and that left them reeling. Chase and Powell then stitched together a stand, with Holder then doing more of the heavy lifting with Chase. Shepherd also got a few hits away towards the end and that has gotten WI up to 140, although that score, at this stage, seems a little way off where they would have wanted to be.
NZ will be pleased with their efforts. Duffy set the tone early and then returned later in the innings to remove the dangerous-looking Shepherd. The rest of the bowlers chipped in throughout, with each bowler (used by NZ) among the wickets. This looks like a routine chase, but NZ will be mindful of the assistance and bounce the WI bowlers could get too. Join us in a bit for the second innings!
Jacob Duffy: (Pleased him most) Getting wickets in the powerplay helps the team. They bat deep. Getting a bit of shape is key for me and bringing the stumps into play. (On if having local knowledge of the conditions helps) Little bit, yeah. A bit moist and a bit tacky (the surface). Sometimes, you find the bounce is a little tough, especially here in Dunedin. (On the score) Historically, 140 is probably a little short. A beautiful summer's day (smiles), good day for bowling, so we will see.

Right. Three overs to go. These two have spent a bit of time at the crease as well. Can WI go past 150? Duffy to bowl out
