OverActive Media will rebrand League European Championship team Splyce to MAD Lions and will build a new roster around mid laner Marek "Humanoid" Brázda, as first reported by Spanish website Esportmaníacos and confirmed by ESPN. MAD Lions will promote top laner Andrei "Orome" Popa and add three new players: former mousesports jungler Zhiqiang "Shadow" Zhao and support Norman "Gistick" Kaiser, and former Berlin International Gaming AD carry Matyáš "Carzzy" Orság.
