The Eagles' addition of DE Genard Avery, 24, from Cleveland for an undisclosed 2021 draft pick provides Philadelphia some depth along the defensive front. Avery was listed as a linebacker while with the Browns. Defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz will look to use him as a pass rusher and see if he can provide some relief snaps for Brandon Graham and Derek Barnett. He had 4.5 sacks in 18 games while with the Browns.
