TOLEDO, Ohio -- Tyrone Kent scored 22 points and had seven
rebounds to lead Toledo to a 76-63 win over Buffalo on Saturday
night.
Jonathan Amos added 20 points and Jerrah Young contributed 10
for the Rockets (6-12, 3-3), who trailed by four with 13:05 left in
the first half but outscored Buffalo 26-15 the rest of the period.
Sean Smiley scored 21 points for Buffalo, who committed 20
turnovers leading to 25 Toledo points. Andy Robinson added 14
points for the Bulls (6-12, 0-6).
Toledo shot 45.7 percent from the field but only 27.8 percent
from behind the 3-point line. Buffalo shot 38.7 percent overall but
was just 7-of-15 (46.7 percent) from the free-throw line.
Buffalo spread out its scoring attack, getting 45 points from
their bench to Toledo's eight points.
