CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Jaycen Herring scored 16 points and
Brandon Foust added 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead Southeast
Missouri to a 76-63 win against Central Methodist on Sunday.
Marcus Rhodes scored 12 points and Michael Rembert had 10 for
the Redhawks, who overcame an 11-point first-half deficit.
Central Methodist's Sid Stanley hit three 3-pointers in the
first five minutes of the game and the Eagles built a 23-14 lead
midway through the half.
Southeast Missouri rallied with a 21-7 run to take a 35-31 lead
into halftime.
The Redhawks extended their lead to 41-33 a few minutes into the
second half before Central Methodist (5-9) went on a 10-2 run to
tie the game at 43-43.
Southeast Missouri (9-5), whose bench outscored the Eagles'
bench 36-6, scored the next six points and didn't trail again.
Stanley led all scorers with 19 points. Anthony Love had 17 and
Matt Sherman added 11 for the Eagles.
