MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) -- Tyrone Brazelton's 20 points helped Western Kentucky to a 71-66 victory over Middle Tennessee.
Middle Tennessee (12-13, 9-5) led 38-34 at the end of the first half on Saturday in a game that saw the score tied 11 times and the lead change 10 times.
The Blue Raiders had 47 percent shooting to Western Kentucky's 41 percent, but Middle Tennessee suffered from 22 turnovers, which Western Kentucky (21-5, 13-1) turned into 26 points.
Western Kentucky took the lead for good at 12:04 in the second half, although Middle Tennessee came within 1 point of tying at 27 seconds to go.
Also helping Western Kentucky were Courtney Lee with 18 points and Jeremy Evans with 11.
Demetrius Green led Middle Tennessee with 22 points, Desmond Yates added 17 and Nigel Johnson added 10.
