G.G. Smith is stepping down as the head basketball coach at Loyola (Maryland), sources told ESPN. Smith, the son of Memphis coach Tubby Smith, spent five seasons with the Greyhounds. He was 47-76 heading into this season, and they struggled to a 9-22 finish in 2017-18. G.G. Smith failed to finish .500 or better in any of his five seasons at the helm.
