Match Commentary

81'32-25 End of second half
81'32-25 Conversion - Jimmy Gopperth , Wasps
80'Wasps move up to fifth ahead of Leicester in sixth, and Wasps are now certainly back in contention for the top four! The perfect day for Wasps as they triumph over the Tigers in the sides' 100th meeting.
80'
80'It is yet another defeat for Leicester Tigers against their Midland rivals -- it's now five defeats in a row for the Tigers against Wasps.
80'What a brilliant game that was! Wasps shade it late on but ut was a very even game. Both teams had their moments but it's Wasps that take the victory in Coventry. Some controversy for the final try, a pass in the build-up may have been forward, but Wasps won't care. They continue to move up the table.
80'TRY FOR WASPS! Kearnan Myall over for Wasps with just a minute left on the clock. Dan Cole misses the tackle as Myall powers under the posts for the try. The clock runs down and it's all over!
79'30-25 Try - Kearnan Myall , Wasps
77'Wasps struggling to find a gap in midfield. We're through nine phases now.
77'Substitute on - Nathan Charles , Wasps
77'Player substituted - Ashley Johnson , Wasps
76'The scrum for Wasps is 35 meters out.
76'We're having a quick breather before this scrum as Ashley Johnson receives treatment.
76'From the line out, Graham Kitchener knocks on. The sort of error that could prove very costly at this stage.
75'The scrum is collapsed by Wasps and the Tigers get themselves out of jail. They will now clear their lines.
74'From a scrum, Wasps break out wide. It comes out to Josh Bassett out wide but he is hit just short of the tryline and its lost forward. Scrum to the Tigers on their own five meter line.
74'Player substituted - Simon McIntyre , Wasps
74'Substitute on - Ben Harris , Wasps
74'Player substituted - Christian Wade , Wasps
74'Substitute on - Josh Bassett , Wasps
73'Youngs is back on his feet and the England scrumhalf is going to soldier on here.
73'Ben Youngs is down injured... He doesn't look comfortable.
70'Wasps trying to burst through to the try line! McIntrye almost finds a way through but there's a huge hit from the Wasps defence five meters out and Wasps have lost the ball through the contact. A huge sigh of relief from the Tigers!
70'Substitute on - Harry Wells , Leicester Tigers
70'Player substituted - Michael Fitzgerald , Leicester Tigers
70'Substitute on - Mike Williams , Leicester Tigers
70'Player substituted - Valentino Mapapalangi , Leicester Tigers
70'Player substituted - Dan Robson , Wasps
70'Substitute on - Joe Simpson , Wasps
69'25-25 Penalty goal - George Ford , Leicester Tigers
68'Leicester come straight back at the Wasps defence and force Ben Youngs to knock the ball on. Unfortunately for Wasps, Wasps were penalised for a man off their feet in the ruck and Ford slots over from in front of the posts. What a game this has been! We're all square!
67'Jonah Holmes looked as though he was about to get his hat trick as he found a gap, but he loses the ball virtually on the try line! Ben Robson strips the ball away from the youngster and Gopperth clears. Lucky escape for Wasps!
67'Player substituted - Jake Cooper-Woolley , Wasps
67'Substitute on - Marty Moore , Wasps
66'Leicester now on the attack! Going through the phases in the Wasps' 22...
65'Substitute on - Gaby Lovobalavu , Wasps
65'Player substituted - Juan de Jongh , Wasps
64'A breathless try from a Wasps line-out on halfway! Wasps quickly move the ball out to Elliot Daly's flank and the England winger motors over the tryline to hand Wasps the lead! Gopperth though misses the conversion and it's a three point game with 16 minutes to go!
63'25-22 Try - Elliot Daly , Wasps
60'Substitute on - Jack Willis , Wasps
60'Player substituted - Thomas Young , Wasps
59'20-22 Penalty goal - Jimmy Gopperth , Wasps
58'From the restart, Fitzgerald is penalised for a combination of entering the ruck from the side and coming off his feet in the ruck. Gopperth puts the penalty straight down the middle of the posts and the Tigers' momentum is halted. This game is finely poised!
58'Player substituted - Tom Youngs , Leicester Tigers
58'Substitute on - Harry Thacker , Leicester Tigers
58'17-22 Conversion - George Ford , Leicester Tigers
57'17-20 Try - Jonah Holmes , Leicester Tigers
56'Fabulous from Wasps as some intricate quick play forces them into the Tigers 22, but there's an awful long pass from Willie le Roux and Jonah Holmes intercepts and runs the length of the field for his second try of the game! Holmes certainly coming back to haunt Wasps here!
54'Time off as the physios are on. The Tigers have been much better in the second half. They've been much more direct and their approach is causing Wasps all sorts of problems.
51'Gaps open in the Wasps defence, and the pressure tells as the Tigers force a 3 v 2 on the left flank. The cover runs out for Wasps, and Jonah Holmes is released by Mapapalangi on the offload and Holmes has a try in the corner against his former club! Ford's conversion is just wide, so Wasps keep hold of the lead... just...
51'17-15 Try - Jonah Holmes , Leicester Tigers
49'More great defending from Wade as the Tigers are driven back just as it looked as though they were finding a way through! Still Tigers ball though, they're on the Wasps 22.
48'Ford's penalty cannons off the right hand post! A poor clearance by Cipriani though so the pressure is still on as Kalamafoni drives straight back at Wasps.
47'A George Ford pass goes astray and it is almost collected by Juan de Jongh. The TMO takes a look at it for a deliberate knock on by de Jongh -- it's a penalty for Tigers and Ford will go for the post. Tigers very fortunate there.
45'Wasps penalised from a scrum inside the Tigers' half, but the kick away from George Ford is an uncharacteristically poor one. Tigers ball, but there's still pressure on them.
43'It's Wasps who have had the best of the opening stages of the second half. Wasps overlap to drive themselves into the Leicester 22. However, a Wasps pass is too long it goes into touch. Youngs clears from the lineout, but it's not a great kick and it's a line out 25m out for Wasps.
41'
41'17-10 End of first half
40'The teams are back out for the second half! Will the Tigers turn things around or will Wasps carry their momentum into the second half? We're about to find out as Danny Cipriani kicks off to get us back underway!
40'Here's Dan Robson going over for Wasps' second try. The second half is just minutes away!
40'And we're at the break! It's been a half of two halves in a way -- Leicester dominated the early stages with the Wasps' pack looking lost, but Wasps have been all over the Tigers since the 20th minute -- and the roles have been reversed. Christian Wade the stand out man for Wasps -- he's been everywhere in the first half. He's made big tackles in defence and he was a constant threat in attack.
40'17-10 Start of second half
40'Substitute on - Logovi'i Mulipola , Leicester Tigers
40'Player substituted - Ellis Genge , Leicester Tigers
39'Excellent intensity from Wasps' defence. They drive the Tigers backwards and as the ball comes out wide, Christian Wade forces his man out of play. Meanwhile, Ellis Genge's game is over, he's gone off with an injury; Mulipola on for Tigers.
37'17-10 Penalty goal - Elliot Daly , Wasps
36'Daly puts the ball over the posts from 50m out and Wasps lead is extended further.
36'Ellis Genge a little over excited at the maul and the England international is penalised. Elliot Daly to have a pop at the posts from range.
34'14-10 Conversion - Jimmy Gopperth , Wasps
34'Substitute on - Matt Smith , Leicester Tigers
34'Player substituted - Gareth Owen , Leicester Tigers
33'Jimmy Gopperth's conversion is good, and it's now 14 unanswered points by Wasps as they've turned this game on its head.
32'Dan Robson was just about denied by the Tigers defence, but he goes over a the second attempt and Wasps' constant pressure from the phases results in a try! After a poor start to this game from them, they are now ahead!
32'12-10 Try - Dan Robson , Wasps
31'Big overlap for Wasps as they advance forward. Wade is stopped on the 22 line -- Wasps have the penalty advantage as they move the ball out to the opposite flank and now Wasps are within five meters...
29'Elsewhere in the Premiership, Gloucester have beaten London Irish 39-15, moving Gloucester up to fourth in the Premiership table for now.
26'Sloppy from the Tigers as the ball slips out at the ruck to a Wasps player. The wet pitch certainly a factor in that turnover.
24'From the restart, Wasps knock on and hands the Tigers a scrum on the Wasps' 22 meter line.
24'7-10 Conversion - Jimmy Gopperth , Wasps
23'5-10 Try - Nizaam Carr , Wasps
22'Fabulous score for Wasps. They quickly move the ball from the right flank to the left. The defensive line opened up from Simon McIntyre's break and Nizaam Carr is the man who takes the ball over under the posts to finish a superb move from Wasps. It's the Wasps No. 8's third try in four games! Conversion is good.
21'Relief for Wasps as Leicester are penalised from the maul resulting from the line out and Wasps can clear.
19'Brilliant tackle from Christian Wade to deny Jonah Holmes a try in the corner. However, Leicester had the advantage and they tap it out for a line out. Pressure still on.
18'Wasps penalised at the scrum. With it being close to the touchline, Ford boots it into the corner.
17'A complete mess from Wasps. In their own 22, loose passes firmly put the pressure on Wasps, and as Christian Wade tries to clean up the mess by bringing the ball out of his own 22, he loses it forward. Scrum just outside the Wasps' 22 for Leicester.
15'0-10 Conversion - George Ford , Leicester Tigers
14'And the first try of the game has gone Leicester's way! Leicester go through the phases after winning the line out, and a powerful carry from Tigers' skipper Tom Youngs sees him find a gap and go over the try line under the posts. Ford's conversion is good, and the Tigers are now 10 points ahead.
14'0-8 Try - Tom Youngs , Leicester Tigers
12'Christian Wade superbly claims Dan Robson's box kick to drive Wasps up field, but Wasps are off their feet in the ruck and are penalised. Ford's kick to touch is well into the Wasps 22.
10'Willie le Roux's pass to Christian Wade is intercepted, and George Ford puts in a brilliant clearing kick -- a low driven kick that went nearly 80 meters -- to put the pressure back on Wasps.
8'Fast paced start in Coventry -- both sides are looking to get the ball out wide! Great work from the Wasps in Leicester's 22 turns the ball over -- a scrum to Wasps in a dangerous area.
5'Wasps now attacking. Elliot Daly has the space from a pass from Cipriani. The England international is brought down and the ball comes back to Cipriani from the ruck. He tries to grubber kick it through the Tigers defence, but it dribbles over the try area and out of play. Well defended from the Tigers.
4'0-3 Penalty goal - George Ford , Leicester Tigers
3'George Ford slots the penalty over the posts, putting three on the board for the Tigers, but you sense that it really should have been a try for Leicester -- it would have been a walk-in had they taken the chance to overlap.
1'Immediate opportunity for the Tigers! Gareth Owen breaks through and he is just about brought down by Willie Le Roux. Tigers miss an opportunity for an overlap from the ruck and instead move it out wide, allowing Wasps to recover. It comes to Adam Thompstone out on the right flank, but he runs out of room and is tackled out of play. The referee brings it back for the penalty.
1'And we're underway in the Midlands derby!
1'The teams are heading out onto the Ricoh Arena pitch for the 100th meeting between the two most decorated sides in the Aviva Premiership! Jake Cooper-Woolley leads Wasps out to huge applause and pyrotechnics on his 100th appearance for the club. Here is a reminder of the teams.
1'Both teams are of course desperate for a win today to strengthen their chances of reaching the semifinals of the Premiership. Wasps, unbeaten in their last three in the Premiership, have claimed five bonus points for scoring more than four tries in the last six games, but Dai Young will not have been happy after Wasps stuttered as they edged past bottom side London Irish 17-13 last weekend. With Danny Cipriani and Elliot Daly back in the side today, Dai Young will be demanding an improved performance today.
1'Hello and welcome to ESPN's live text coverage as Leicester Tigers visit Coventry to take on Wasps. Today's game is a rerun of the Premiership semifinal from May, when Wasps edged out the Tigers 21-20 in Coventry to advance to the Premiership Final. The Tigers will be out for revenge, and with several England internationals returning after the autumn Tests, they will be confident of victory today.
