MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Twins third baseman Joe Crede left Sunday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers with bruised right hand.
Crede was hit in the hand by a pitch from Dave Bush in the bottom of the sixth inning. He stayed in the game in the top of seventh, but left after an out was recorded. He walked off the field while opening and closing his hand in a fistlike motion and went straight to the team's clubhouse. He is listed as day-to-day.
Crede hit his eighth home run of the season in fourth inning to give Minnesota a 2-1 lead.
