FRISCO, Texas -- The Stars practiced for more than an hour on Wednesday before boarding a plan to Vancouver to start a three game road trip. They face the Canucks on Thursday, Edmonton on Friday and Colorado on Sunday.
Some quick practice notes:
Stars coach Marc Crawford went up to Vancouver early. So assistant coach Charlie Huddy ran the practice.
Brenden Morrow (upper body injury) skated, but will not play on Thursday. Morrow and Jere Lehtinen (upper body injury) will not make the road trip with the team initially. Huddy said there was a chance they might join the team in Colorado.
Mike Ribeiro (throat) went on the ice in warmups and skated a little after the team had quit practicing. He's probably not back until after the Olympic break.

The defensive pairings were the same as well, with Jeff Woywitka rotating in:
