PARIS, May 2 - Olympique Lyon's hopes of an eighth
successive Ligue 1 title all but vanished when a double strike
by Johan Audel led struggling Valenciennes to a 2-0 home win
over the champions on Saturday.
Third-placed Lyon have 61 points with four games left, six
behind leaders Olympique Marseille who host Toulouse later on
Saturday.
Girondins Bordeaux, second on 65 points, welcome Sochaux on
Sunday.
Valenciennes moved further away from the drop zone on 40
points, seven ahead of 18th-placed Nantes who host bottom team
Le Havre on Sunday.
