LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Andrea Riley had 30 points and Toni Young scored her only basket with 3.5 seconds left to lift Oklahoma State (No. 19 ESPN/USA Today, No. 15 AP) past Kansas 70-68 on Tuesday.
Danielle McCray of Kansas made a 3-pointer with 15 seconds left to tie the game at 68, before Riley rushed the ball upcourt, sliced into the lane and dropped a pass to Young for a layup.
LaChelda Jacobs missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer for Kansas (10-5, 0-2 Big 12). McCray led the Jayhawks with 28 points.
Tegan Cunningham added 17 points for the Cowgirls (14-2, 2-0), who led 39-29 at halftime. Oklahoma State has won 10 straight games.
Kansas has lost three consecutive games, falling out of the Top 25 this week after losses to unranked New Mexico State and Kansas State.
Kansas redshirt freshman Angel Goodrich left the game in the second half with a right knee injury. She tore the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in the knee and will miss the remainder of the season.
Goodrich was averaging 6.8 points and 7.1 assists for the Jayhawks. She had 13 points and eight rebounds against Oklahoma State before getting hurt.
