Iowa's Brodell likely out for the season with hamstring tear

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Iowa wide receiver Andy Brodell is likely
to miss the rest of the season after tearing his hamstring during
Saturday's loss to Wisconsin.

Coach Kirk Ferentz said Tuesday that Brodell will be out.

Brodell, Iowa's primary wideout and punt returner, ranked second
on the team with 13 catches and was averaging 14.4 yards a return.

Iowa (2-2, 0-1 Big Ten) will also be without junior tight end
Tony Moeaki for Saturday's game against Indiana (3-1, 0-1).

Moeaki, the team leader with 14 receptions, could miss up to a
month after dislocating his elbow and breaking a bone in his hand
on the same play against Wisconsin.
