Bobby Wade said he didn't want to get Brian Urlacher in trouble. Maybe he shouldn't have opened his mouth.
The former Bears receiver, and current Minnesota Viking, spent the past weekend hanging out with Brian Urlacher in Las Vegas, and obviously had a few interesting conversations with the big linebacker. Wade went on Paul Allen's radio show in Minneapolis earlier today and basically said that Urlacher wasn't impressed by what he had seen from his new quarterback.
"[Cutler] wasn't what they expected," Wade told Allen on KFAN.
A few seconds later, the receiver dropped this bombshell -- one which is sure to be the talk of training camp when the Bears report to Bourbonnais on Thursday. "Pretty much, he said Jay Cutler was [soft] for the most part."
Needless to say, the language was a little harsher than that.
You've got to believe that Urlacher thought he was having an "off the record" conversation with his old teammate, now he's got to deal with a Vegas hangover that may last for a long, long time.
