Two Big Ten women's basketball games scheduled for Thursday have been canceled because of COVID-19 protocols, it was announced Monday. No. 21 Iowa's game at Penn State has been called off because of positive COVID-19 test results in the Nittany Lions' program. Also, Purdue's game at Wisconsin is off because of COVID-19 concerns within the Badgers' program. The Big Ten said how these games will be treated relating to the league's forfeiture policy will be announced at a later date. The Hawkeyes, who were an NCAA Sweet 16 team last season, are next scheduled to host Illinois on Sunday.
