Everything you need to know about 2024 WWE Backlash France

The 19th edition of Backlash will take place outside of North America for the first time, as France will serve as the host for the first premium live event post-WrestleMania. The event will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the LDLC Arena in Décines-Charpieu in Lyon Metropolis.

Saturday's show will have four titles on the line, including the Undisputed WWE championship and the world heavyweight title.

WWE Backlash France 2024 match card

  • Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. AJ Styles

  • World Heavyweight Championship: Damian Priest (c) vs. Jey Uso

  • WWE Women's Championship: Bayley (c) vs. Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton in a triple threat match

  • WWE Women's Tag Team Championship: The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) (c) vs. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill

WWE Backlash 2023

Bad Bunny led the way in Puerto Rico as Backlash touched down in San Juan for an epic clash against Damian Priest. The card at Backlash also featured two title matches with Rhea Ripley defending the SmackDown women's title against Zelina Vega and Austin Theory facing Bobby Lashley and Bronson Reed in a triple threat match for the United States Championship.

WWE Backlash 2022

The 2022 edition of WWE Backlash took place on May 8 at Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. It was the first pay-per-view event following WrestleMania 38. It was headlined by Ronda Rousey facing Charlotte Flair in an "I Quit" match, where the former UFC champion dethroned Flair in dramatic fashion. Also on the card was Cody Rhodes defeating Seth Rollins and The Bloodline defeating RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre.
