When does AFL Free Agency start?

AFL Free Agency signals the beginning of the player movement period, with the first day being from 9.00am on Friday, October 4, 2024. The free agency period ends at 5pm on Friday, October 11, 2024.

When does the AFL Trade Period start?

The official trade period doesn't begin until a little later than the free agency period. Club can begin to lodge trades from 9.00am on Monday, October 7, 2024, until 7.30pm on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

When is the 2024 AFL Draft going to be held?

The AFL Draft occurs later in the season compared to the free agency and trade periods, and is set to take place over two nights in 2024, with the first round to be held on Wednesday, November 20, and all other rounds to be held on Thursday, November 21.

When is the AFL Draft combine?

The 2024 combine is set to be held over three days, from Friday, October 4 until Sunday, October 6.
