WATCH: Lokeni Toailoa UA jersey presentation

The Under Armour All-America Game jersey presentation tour hit California on Tuesday, as Lokeni Toailoa received his game jersey in a ceremony sponsored by American Family Insurance. Toailoa, the nation's No. 1 inside linebacker, took a moment to enjoy the proceedings.

"It was a blessing to be recognized and to even have a chance to play in this game," Toailoa said, adding that it was an honor to receive his jersey in front of friends, teammates and family.

The next jersey Toailoa -- the nation's No. 68 prospect -- will receive should be the blue and gold of UCLA, where the 6-foot-1, 212-pound linebacker committed this past March. While Toailoa chose UCLA over USC in what looked like it could be a fairly close race, he said there was never a doubt.

"From the start, I knew where I wanted to go," Toailoa said. "I'm pretty much done with recruiting."

Toailoa has now set his sights on building UCLA's class, and that could start close to home, with his brother Leni Toailoa -- who pledged to San Jose State before being offered by the Bruins.

"I'm pushing him toward UCLA, but at the end of the day I want him to be happy with his decision," Toailoa said.

Six questions with Lokeni Toailoa

What one player are you looking forward to competing with?

"I'm excited to play with all of them, but the one guy I’m looking forward to playing with is Oluwole Betiku. He recently committed to UCLA. He's a defensive lineman so I'd be playing behind him, but I'm looking forward to getting to know him on a personal level."

If you could start a team with any other player in your class who would it be?

"That'd have to be my [7-on-7 team] Ground Zero teammate, Damian Alloway. He's a pretty dynamic guy."

What was your earliest football memory?

"My first season, I was not playing a lot because I was not physically fit to play football, so I was playing the minimum amount of snaps. The following year, my 6th-grade year, I made all conference for offensive line."

Which football player did you idolize or want to be like when you were a kid?

"Growing up I definitely idolized Ray Lewis."

If you could take on any pro player in their sport who would it be?

"Probably Kobe Bryant."

Why do you wear your number?

"Growing up playing Junior All-American, me and my two brothers all planned on getting No. 5. Ever since then I've stuck with that number."
