UA jersey tour: C Cohl Cabral

The nation's No. 2 center was officially added to the Under Armour All-America Game on Wednesday, as Cohl Cabral was presented his game jersey in a ceremony sponsored by American Family Insurance.

Cabral was honored in front of extended family and the entire senior class.

"I can't believe this is actually happening," Cabral said of the festivities. "I've been watching these guys for so many years and now I have the opportunity to be in their shoes."

Cabral -- 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds -- was one of the more highly recruited linemen in California this year, as he collected offers from Arizona, Cal, Michigan, Oregon and USC before making a commitment to Arizona State this past May. He said his official visit to Arizona State will take place after the season, when he can spend more time with the coaching staff. Though, he also plans to make himself at home on the Arizona State campus before then, as he'll be in attendance for USC's trip to Tempe later this month and will likely attend several other home games.

Five questions with Cohl Cabral

Who is the best player to have played in the Under Armour All-America Game?

"I'd probably have to say Julio Jones because of what he's accomplished now."

What player did you idolize growing up?

"I liked watching Brian Cushing and Taylor Mays play at USC. They got me into that mentality to knock someone's head off on every play."

If you could challenge any pro athlete in their sport, who would it be?

"Clayton Kershaw. I grew up playing baseball too, so that'd be a cool thing to be able to do."

Why do you wear your number (72)?

"There isn't really a reason. It was just one of those things where the center before me on my Pop Warner team wore it and he was a very good center. That was in 8th grade and I've stuck with it since then."

What is one thing people might not know about you?

"I have a very large and athletic family. I have two very big younger brothers. One is a sophomore (Brett) and one is in eighth grade (Jake)."
