Brandon Burton received his Under Armour All-America Game jersey in front of family and friends on Tuesday afternoon, in a presentation sponsored by American Family Insurance. The nation's No. 163 prospect and No. 8 safety made sure to thank virtually everyone who has helped him on his academic and football journey as he makes his way to the next level and a destination that is still very much up in the air.

In fact, if you find yourself at an airport or on a California freeway this fall, there's a good chance you could run into Burton.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound two-way standout has October official visits scheduled to Oklahoma, Florida State and Notre Dame in successive weeks, November trips to Alabama and Ohio State and is planning to visit Arizona, Stanford and UCLA unofficially.

"I'm really wide open going through it," Burton said of the recruiting process. "You never want to close any options going through it."

Burton will also be open to a number of positions at the next level, as the Pac-12 programs have talked about playing either offense or defense, Ohio State sees him at safety, Alabama sees him strictly as a receiver and Florida State has said wide receiver to start, with the possibility of a look on defense.

It looks like it will be a whirlwind fall for Burton, but fans won't have to wait until signing day to hear a decision from him. He hopes to make a decision at the Under Armour All-America Game, leaving him -- hopefully -- several stress-free weeks before signing with his chosen program.

Who is the best player to have played in the Under Armour All-America Game?

"I'm kind of biased, Julio Jones, he plays for my favorite team, so I'll probably say Julio Jones."

If you were coaching a team, who would be your first draft pick of all the 2016 recruits?

"I know a lot of good ones. First pick, I would go, quarterback Malik Henry."

What player did you idolize growing up?

"I always wanted to play quarterback. That was my first position playing football and my favorite player was Michael Vick, so I always idolized Michael Vick."

What was your earliest football memory?

"Changing from quarterback to running back and my first touchdown playing for the Apple Valley Rattlers. I was seven or eight years old and I broke a 90-something-yard run and I broke like 11 tackles and scored."

If you could take on any professional athlete in their sport, who would it be?

"I would have to get after Serena Williams in tennis. I might get her. My wrist motion is kind of nice in tennis."

Why do you wear your number?

"Seven has just always been my favorite number. I've worn different numbers before but it only feels right wearing seven."

What is something people might not know about you?

"I love singing. I might not be that good at it, but I love to sing. I don't have a problem doing it in front of a lot of people or a small crowd."
