WATCH: Jack Allison UA jersey presentation
ESPN 300 quarterback Jack Allison received his Under Armour All-America game jersey presented by American Family Insurance on Thursday in front of teammates, coaches, faculty and friends at Palmetto (Florida) High School.
The fifth-ranked pocket passer and the 79th-ranked player overall in the ESPN 300 said being selected to this game was very special to him.
“It’s really just a dream come true, just watching it since I was 11 years old up until now," Allison said. "It’s a surreal feeling. There were so many great players that have played in the game, I remember watching it and just saying ‘Hey, I want to play in that game,’ it’s just an unbelievable feeling to be a part of this."

Allison has been committed to Miami (FL) since June and despite the Hurricanes' struggles on the field recently, the 6-foot-5, 195-pound, strong-armed prospect remains solid in his pledge to the Hurricanes.
“My commitment is strong,” Allison said. “I’m a Miami Hurricane and what really drew me to their program was just the love I got from all of the coaches and the atmosphere is just amazing down there. I just fell in love with it.”
Allison has been one of Miami’s strongest recruiters since joining the Canes' class. Overall he is impressed with the talent Miami is bringing in, but hopes to add some more key pieces to the puzzle.
"Our recruiting class is really strong right now with Sam Bruce and Dionte Mullins,” Allison said. "The class is awesome as it is and whoever else jumps on is even better."
Q&A with Jack Allison:
What is your first football memory?
"I threw like a 50-yard touchdown when I was in eighth grade. That was crazy and definitely one of my best football memories."
If you could start a team with any other player in this class who would it be and why?
"I’d have to say Sam Bruce. He’s just a great person and an explosive athlete and a perfect fit in the Miami offense."
If you could play 1-on-1 with any professional athlete in their sport, who would it be and why?
"I’d want to play a round of golf with Tiger Woods. That would be incredible."
What number do you wear in high school and is there a reason why you wear that number?
"I wear No. 14. I used to wear No. 4, but [Palmetto] had a [previous] player on our team die, so they retired his number, which was No. 4. Now I wear 14."
What is something that not many people know about you?
"That’s a tough question, but I’d have to say it's that I like to play the guitar. I’m terrible but I still like to play."
