Tyson Fury has warned Anthony Joshua that one of them will "go to sleep" within four rounds if they step into the ring together.

Fury (25-0, 18 KOs), who hasn't fought since his November 2015 victory over Wladimir Klitschko, is backing Joseph Parker when he meets Joshua himself on March 31.

And while Fury has not got an upcoming fight scheduled, he has been back in training and promoter Frank Warren has applied for the heavyweight's boxing licence.

"I'm going to make a bold statement here," Tyson said on the Pound For Pound podcast. "If I get the AJ fight, I'm going to make it a four-round fight.

"Either he's going to go or I'm going to go. He can't underestimate my power and my size and strength.

"I want to make it a war. I want to make it a Tommy Hearns vs. Marvin Hagler remake, but in the heavyweight division. Either I'll go to sleep or he will go to sleep.

"To be honest, I don't give a flying f--- if it's me or him, someone is going."

A potential fight between Fury and Joshua is highly-anticipated with the former stating he would even skip a 'warm-up' fight to face the IBF-WBA champion.
