The regular season ended with Unders hitting at 53%, the highest rate since 2017. The Dallas Cowboys finish at 13-4 against the spread, the best record in the league, while the Jaguars and Panthers both finished 6-11 and at the bottom.

Here is our weekly look at betting trends across the league at the conclusion of the season.

AFC East

Buffalo Bills

ATS: 9-6-2
O/U: 8-9

What we know: The Bills were an impressive 4-1-2 ATS when favored by at least 10 points this season.

New England Patriots

ATS: 10-7
O/U: 9-8

What we know: The Patriots were a league best (min. 3 such games) 4-1 ATS when favored by at least seven points.

Miami Dolphins

ATS: 9-7-1
O/U: 7-10

What we know: From Week 9 on, no team covered at a higher rate (77.8%) than the Dolphins.

New York Jets

ATS: 6-11
O/U: 10-7

What we know: Over bettors cashed in five of the Jets' six covers this season.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens

ATS: 8-9
O/U: 8-9

What we know: Under tickets came through in six of Baltimore's final nine games this regular season (they struggled as a team over that stretch, going just 2-7 outright).

Pittsburgh Steelers

ATS: 8-9
O/U: 6-10-1

What we know: The Steelers went 3-1 ATS down the stretch, with under tickets cashing in all three of those covers and the lone ATS loss going over the spread.

Cincinnati Bengals

ATS: 10-7
O/U: 8-8-1

What we know: The Bengals closed the regular season with back-to-back-to-back-to-back covers, not bad for a team that had failed to cover four of their six games prior.

Cleveland Browns

ATS: 7-10
O/U: 7-10

What we know: The Browns were just 2-6 ATS down the stretch, with four of those games involving a sweat where the cover margin was three points or fewer.

AFC South

Jacksonville Jaguars

ATS: 5-12

O/U: 5-12

What we know: The Jags were a league-worst 1-7 ATS in games with a spread under 7 points this season (the Cowboys were the best team in such spots at 6-1).

Indianapolis Colts

ATS: 10-7
O/U: 8-9

What we know: Styles make fights and the Colts' style of play was underestimated by the books once we got to December, as each of Indy's final five games went under the projected total.

Tennessee Titans

ATS: 10-7
O/U: 8-9

What we know: The Titans covered just three of eight games to close after opening the season covering seven of nine.

Houston Texans

ATS: 8-9
O/U: 8-9

What we know: The award for the most predictable team in 2021 goes to the Texans, as, over the course of 18 weeks, their point differential was just 0.5 points better than the Vegas projection.

AFC West

Los Angeles Chargers

ATS: 8-9
O/U: 10-7

What we know: Over tickets cashed in nine of the Chargers' final 11 games: the 81.8% hit rate being the highest in the league over that stretch.

Denver Broncos

ATS: 8-9
O/U: 5-12

What we know: The Broncos and Jaguars saw 12 games go under their projected total, tied for the most in the league this season.

Las Vegas Raiders

ATS: 8-9
O/U: 8-9

What we know: The Raiders finished with three straight covers, snapping out of a slump that saw them lose six of seven ATS.

Kansas City Chiefs

ATS: 8-9
O/U: 10-7

What we know: The Chiefs have been dictating tempo of late and that's scary for the rest of the league. Over tickets cashed in each of Kansas City's final five games.

NFC East

Washington

ATS: 7-9-1
O/U: 7-10

What we know: Over tickets came through in four straight Washington games from Weeks 2-5, but unders went 3-9 after that run.

New York Giants

ATS: 6-11
O/U: 5-11-1

What we know: The Giants failed to cover six straight games to close the season: one of three such streaks in the NFL this season (others: Panthers and Jaguars).

Dallas Cowboys

ATS: 13-4
O/U: 8-9

What we know: The Cowboys finished with the highest cover rate in the NFL this season (76.5%), the first team to clear 75% since the 2016 Patriots (81.3%).

Philadelphia Eagles

ATS: 8-8-1
O/U: 10-7

What we know: Points in comfort? The Eagles played nothing but divisional opponents over the final four weeks of the season and three of those games went over the total.

NFC North

Green Bay Packers

ATS: 12-5
O/U: 8-9

What we know: The Packers were a league-best 7-1 ATS at home (totals were 4-4 in games at Lambeau).

Chicago Bears

ATS: 6-11
O/U: 7-10

What we know: Twice this season did a NFC North team fail to cover three straight games: the Bears from Weeks 6-8 and the Bears from Weeks 11-15.

Detroit Lions

ATS: 11-6
O/U: 7-10

What we know: The Lions were 7-3 ATS this season when closing as an underdog of at least seven points.

Minnesota Vikings

.

ATS: 9-8
O/U: 11-6

What we know: With 64.7% of their games going over Vegas' total, the Vikings were the most profitable team for over bettors in 2021.

NFC South

New Orleans Saints

ATS: 9-8
O/U: 7-10

What we know: The Saints finally found their ATS stride post Drew Brees, as they covered four of their final five games of the season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

ATS: 9-8
O/U: 9-8

What we know: Fading the Bucs off of the Super Bowl was a profitable play early on, but they rebounded to go 8-5 ATS after a 1-3 start.

Atlanta Falcons

ATS: 6-10-1
O/U: 7-10

What we know: The Falcons were a league worst 1-7 ATS at home this season (unders went 5-3 in those games).

Carolina Panthers

ATS: 5-12
O/U: 8-9

What we know: Their record in the totals market was respectable, but the Panthers' 5-12 mark ATS this season matched the Jags for the worst of the year.

NFC West

Arizona Cardinals

ATS: 10-7
O/U: 8-9

What we know: The Cardinals tied the Cowboys for the best road ATS record this season at 8-1.

Los Angeles Rams

ATS: 8-9
O/U: 9-7-1

What we know: If you were trying to find a trend to bank on in Rams games, you had a tough season. The total alternated result in each of LA's final eight games.

Seattle Seahawks

ATS: 9-8
O/U: 6-10-1

What we know: It took the winter to warm up Seattle totals, but it got there. Seahawk games went over the total in five of six to close the season after under tickets were funding tuition savings plans early on, cashing (or pushing) in 10 of their first 11 games.

San Francisco 49ers

ATS: 9-8
O/U: 8-8-1

What we know: It's not how you start, but how you finish. Over the final nine weeks of the season, the 49ers were 7-2 ATS, tying the Lions for the best mark over that stretch.
