Here's what to look for today:

Connecticut Sun at Dallas Wings
9:00 p.m., College Park Center, Arlington

Line: Sun (-6)
Money line: Sun (-267), Wings (+215)
Total: 165 points
BPI Win%: Sun (62.7%)

Probable: Arike Ogunbowale (abdomen)

Best bet: Sun -6. The numbers are telling me to go with the Sun to cover on this one. Just like when Chicago lost to New York in Game 1, and the Sky came out and dominated in Game 2 and I think this will happen with Connecticut. The Sun haven't lost consecutive games since June 19-22 and they bounce back well after a loss (+14.0 PPG differential after a loss this season). They also averaged the highest PPG differential on the road in the league this regular season at +7.7. Connecticut has experience on their side having reached the semifinals in each of the last three years. I don't see them snapping that streak this year. -- Jennifer LaCroix

Best bet: Over 165. In Game 2, it was evident on film and in the box score that the Sun underestimated the Wings. Dallas outscored Connecticut 13-6 in transition, 23-11 in second-chance points and nearly matched them in paint points, 40-42. Not too shabby for a Wings team without Arike Ogunbowale. Tonight's winner-take-all Game 3 will feature a different Sun team. As a result, I like the over. The total has hit the over in six of the Wings' last seven games. In order to change history, the Sun will do everything in their power to win this game. With a 7-14 record in franchise history when facing elimination, Connecticut is tied for the lowest win percentage in league history in that situation. -- Eric Moody
