Rutgers was without running back Kyle Monangai but pulled off a streak-snapping 26-19 win over Minnesota on Saturday.
Monangai left Rutgers' last game, a loss to USC on Oct. 25, with an undisclosed injury. The senior ranks 11th in the NCAA in rushing yards with 931 as he seeks back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.
With Monangai out, Antwan Raymond and Ja'shon Benjamin combined for 139 yards on 33 carries.
The Scarlet Knights also have lost defensive end Wesley Bailey, who led the team in sacks last year, for the remainder of the season, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel earlier Saturday.
Rutgers had lost four straight games entering Saturday but won to also end Minnesota's four-game winning streak.
