The NCAA is moving closer to allowing college athletes to make money from their names, images and likenesses. But what could that really mean for their bank accounts?

What could the Heisman-leading quarterback take home from an apparel deal? What could a collegiate/Olympic swimming superstar make off commercials and appearances? How about members of the lacrosse team from camps and lessons? Or the viral-highlight track athlete in social media endorsements?

We asked more than a dozen experts in a variety of fields to help us understand the future marketplace for college athlete endorsements. While the market will be shaped by many variables and yet-to-be-finalized regulations, we used their insights to estimate potential future earnings.
