So India end with 455. That, I think, is a considerable first-innings total. The pitch hasn't started to turn as was expected yet, but there are signs it won't get easier. England have to match India in their first innings. The total was anchored by Pujara and Kohli, who added 226 yesterday, before Kohli fell for 167 today. R Ashwin then did his usual party trick with another fifty and Jayant contributed on debut. England stuck at it with the ball, Moeen the best of them today after Anderson's efforts on the opening day. Will be back in a few minutes for the start of England's reply. Ben: "Right, enough of that slogging nonsense. Back to old fashioned opening batsmen. The master and the apprentice. Should be fantastic."

Rashid to UT Yadav, OUT, picks out deep midwicket...that ends the fun. He hit that so sweetly, but didn't quite get the placement and Moeen was able to snaffle it nicely near the boundary

Rashid to Mohammed Shami, 1 run, and now he heaves a full delivery through midwicket, this one doesn't come out of the middle

Rashid to Mohammed Shami, SIX, that's a way to get off the mark! Tossed up outside off and Shami clobbers it clean over long-off...stayed in his crease and swung through the line. Crowd loving this swinging

Pratyush: "Are you ill Andrew? Your jokes are too lame today." Cheers!
