What a perfect three days it has been for the Lightning. Three games played, three games won and they sit proudly at the top of the table. The Knights set a good total, although the home team has chased it down with near three overs to spare. Tim Tector marshalled the powerful top 4 and ended up with another impressive 69 off only 36 balls. all of the top four scored at better then a run a ball, with the ball flying to all parts, and sometimes out of the ground too. Mayes ended up with 3 wickets but the Knights bowlers couldn't put any pressure on. It's the first time this season that a team hasn't picked up a bonus point for the win, although they do sit four points clear of their rivals today. It's just been announced that Tim Tector is the player of the match It's been a great three days of cricket down here in Dublin, a nice way to get the season started. Hopefully you'll be able to join me next Wednesday when the show moves onto Stormont. Thanks again for following along, this is Justin saying bye for a final time from Dublin. Goodnight
