Our stats team is churning out the stats. This is only the second time four Indian batters have scored fifty-plus in a women's ODI, and India also hit 43 fours today, which is their most in a women's ODI innings. Ever.

5:14pm Plenty of entertainment, classy shots and runs - all of which would have been revered by those at the venue and those supporting India. But for those in West Indian colours, it was a long afternoon, both metaphorically and literally. They had to do lots of leather-chasing early, as Mandhana and Rawal notched up another century stand.

Mandhana's dismissal would have relieved a bit of pressure, but that was the harbinger for the Harleen Deol show. She oozed class en route her maiden international hundred and found support from Harmanpreet and Rodrigues. Rawal, unfortunately, could not scale that peak but during her vigil, showed just how good she can be for India. They will be very happy with what they have on the board and will want to close things out in the second innings. Join us in a bit for the chase!

Jemimah Rodrigues: I love scoring runs. For me, it is important to contribute to the team wherever I bat. I was not thinking about the half-century, was thinking about how to help the team. I was with her (Deol) during her ACL surgery, from seeing her not being able to walk to her now lifting up her bat after the century, I got emotional too. The track was really great, compared to the last one. It is coming onto the bat nicely. It is a really good score, but we need to be disciplined. It is practice for us heading into the World Cup and important for us to stick to our plans. How we do in the second innings will show our character. She (Rawal) was brilliant today. You could sense the nerves in the first game but to bat with intent (today), it did not feel it was her second international game. We have been talking about how to push it up a notch and this batting performance, we did push it up a notch.

Joseph to Ghosh, FOUR, has that hit the cushion on the full?! This is much shorter and sits up to be hit on middle stump. Ghosh backs away and plunders it over mid off. Lands just in front of the rope and this is India's joint-highest team total in a women's ODI, and also the highest score anyone has ever managed against West Indies in a women's ODI!

Joseph to Ghosh, FOUR, nailed! Full and floaty outside off. Ghosh lines it up really early and then boshes it over the fielder at mid off!

2
Joseph to Ghosh, 2 runs, shortens the length after seeing Ghosh advance. She tugs it towards long on. Deepti takes on the second and gets there because Joseph, for some reason, decides to not look back at the stumps and take off the bails. She collected the throw in front of the stumps

Joseph to Sharma, 1 run, length outside off. Deepti skips down and even though she does not get to the pitch, she swishes at it. Slices it just over extra cover, and both batters are happy with a single

Joseph to Ghosh, 1 run, fired in full on leg stump. Ghosh gets down on one knee and heaves it towards deep mid wicket. Just a single

Joseph to Sharma, 1 run, tossed up outside off. Deepti advances and swings at it. Shanks it, though, and the ball bounces just in front of long off

Deepti pulls out because she was not ready. We go again

Joseph to bowl the last over. Over the wicket to Deepti. Can India get to 360?

Dottin to Sharma, no run, full ball down leg again. Deepti swishes at it but does not lay bat on ball. The ball grazes the pad on its way through to the keeper and that prevents the wide

Dottin to Sharma, 1 wide, length ball way down leg. Deepti swings and misses, and Dottin will have to reload that

Dottin to Rodrigues, OUT, straight down Matthews' throat! Slower delivery that slips out of Dottin's hand and ends up being a borderline waist-high full toss outside off. Rodrigues swings at it with all her might but cannot clear Matthews at deep mid wicket. This could be touch-and-go, in terms of height, and Dottin might not get the wicket, after all. The third umpire is taking her time on the decision. Rodrigues was deep in her crease but met the ball in front of her, and it was also dipping. Could really go either way. The third umpire is happy with the fairness of the delivery, and Rodrigues has to walk back!

Joseph to Rodrigues, 1 run, shortish, skidding in towards leg stump. Rodrigues is rushed on the pull and cloths it into the on side. That, though, is enough for her to bring up a half-century, off just 34 balls!

Joseph to Rodrigues, SIX, Rodrigues goes big! Pushed in on a length on middle and off. Rodrigues gives herself room, opens up her stance and pumps it over the bowler's head!

Joseph to Ghosh, 1 run, back of a length on middle and leg. No room to work with as such and Ghosh pokes it towards long on

Joseph to Deol, OUT, Harleen Deol's innings comes to an end! But she will walk off to a roaring, rapturous and standing ovation from those at the venue! Gets a pat on the back from Matthews too, which illustrates how good this knock was! Anyway, back to the wicket now. This was dropped short after Deol gave Joseph the charge. She tried to heave it over cow corner but could only pick out Alleyne on the fence!

Joseph to Deol, FOUR, the runs continue to flow! Pushed in on a length on middle and leg. Deol walks across her stumps and then swipes at it, getting a slight scratch that takes it past short fine leg!

Joseph to Deol, 1 wide, back of a length wide outside off. Deol lets it go and the umpire signals a wide. Joseph not best pleased with that decision
