5.15 pm Two-six-two is the kind of total that makes sure both teams are in the game, along with the viewers. And it took a lot of running from the Pakistan middle order to get there. Mohammad Hafeez was slow to start, as he usually is, but ends up with 81 off 80. Sarfraz Ahmed, as he often is, provided the spark that got the innings going, claiming a 44-ball 50 to erase memories of the fact that his side was until the last 10 were going at a mere 4.3 per over. The last five alone have yielded 62 runs and that is enough of a high for Pakistan's immense bowling attack to ride on. An important point to note though is that New Zealand will begin their chase under lights and that means a pitch that was rather slow upto now can quicken up. The ball will come onto the bat, and there are strokemakers aplenty waiting, including Ross Taylor, who is playing his 200th ODI. (read more here) So do stick around. This looks like fun.

Boult to Mohammad Hafeez, OUT, yorker on middle, Hafeez knocks it to the right of the pitch and decides to run. Boult simply flies at the ball, takes it with his right hand, transfers it to his left, and knocks the stumps down at the non-strikers.

Boult to Mohammad Hafeez, SIX, top edge sails into the crowd at long leg! Pakistan get past 260 with a hook shot against a very sharp bouncer

Boult to Mohammad Hafeez, FOUR, goes around the wicket, but ends up bowling a full toss, which Hafeez pastes through extra cover. Pakistan's last five overs have been absolutely brilliant. New Zealand, though, have been pretty awful with their lengths

Boult to Mohammad Hafeez, SIX, superb hit, and it's all timing as he beats long-off. Getting elevation off a low full toss like that is quite special.

Boult to Mohammad Hafeez, no run, looks at fine leg, the bat in scooping position, but since he makes that move way too early, Boult is able to change his length. Bowling it short, taking the pace off, and beating the bat

Boult to Mohammad Hafeez, SIX, offers length and Hafeez clears his front leg and launches it over long-on. Massive strike.

Boult to close the innings out.

Southee to Shadab Khan, SIX, who cares if its back of a length, Shadab hits it straight back over the bowler's head. Sublime hit. To get under the ball bouncing up to your waist and then swing the bat hard enough to clear the ropes is fairly freakish

Southee to Mohammad Hafeez, 1 run, down the track, looking to make the pace himself since New Zealand aren't giving him any. Flat-bat pull to long-on
