A last wicket partnership of 61 has given New Zealand plenty to bowl at. Boult and Southee sprint back to the dressing room. They will be back soon to trouble West Indies again, now with the new ball. West Indies nabbed two in quick time but had to endure well over half an hour - a frustrating half hour - to finish up this innings. They need to bat really well to respond to this New Zealand total.
CARL B: "Where has the aggressive mentality gone..? The Windies have Gabriel bowling at over 90mph...and there are hardly any short balls to the tail..?..nothing from around the wicket either..?..how about attacking the ribs of these lower order batsmen, instead of feeding them 20/20 slogging fodder..? 50 more than should have been...have to bat really well now."
