WATCH - Rashid ends Kohli's brilliant knock (India only)
Andrew Miller's tweeted this for us: Gooch at Headingley, 1st Test of five in 1991. 154* of 252. Next highest 27. Kohli at Edgbaston, 1st Test of five in 2018. Last out for 149 of 274. Next highest 26.
Raja: "This innings of Kohli reminds me of Rocky IV movie..Just like Rocky won over the Russian crowd Kohli won over the English crowd... They BOOed him when he walked in and standing ovation when he walks back...Take a bow!!"
Ajay Dhanak : "Rashid was brought out of retirement to get Kohli's wicket. I would absolutely love it if he dismisses Kohli a couple more times.... in the 140s that is"
AndyM: "Even allowing for Kohl's brilliant innings, England did an England: not finishing off a team when given the chance, then suffering for it later."
Chan: "Very similar to the start of SA tour for India. Good bowling performance followed by a batting collapse but individual brilliance (Hardik then, Kohli now) keeping them in the game."
6:07pm Don't you just love Test cricket? I've lost count of the times the momentum has shifted, and we're only into the sixth session. One thing's for sure though - the team under pressure at the moment is England. They could have had India on the mat, hours ago. Even after that, they could've cleaned them up with a 100-run lead. Now, they find themselves only 13 ahead, tired and demoralised, with some niggles through the team and a few overs to play out before stumps. Sam Curran, their best bowler, finishes with four wickets. Two each for Anderson, Stokes, and Rashid. The third innings in a bit.

Andrew.S: "Left work an hour ago excepting to come back to England batting. Well then, that's not planned out. "
Pranav: "Kohli is able to pick a boundary and single every over and the bowling doesn't seem as threatening as it was earlier in this innings. What has changed? The pitch acting any different? Or the bowlers not able to bowl that well anymore?" --- For one, England just seemed to give up trying to get him out an hour ago.
