Upul Tharanga was in stunning form this afternoon, making a blistering 95 before failing to drag his back foot back into the crease. It opened up Sri Lanka's fragile middle order to a pair of wristspinners on the prowl.

"The idea was to bowl quicker, wicket to wicket. I'm getting good drift over the last couple of series," says one of those wristspinners Chahal, who finished with 3 for 46. Kuldeep took 3 for 42, and together, they broke Sri Lanka. India will need 216 off 50 overs on a surface that is taking some turn. We'll be back soon.
