8.45pm Phew, that was awesome. Sixes aplenty, 21 of them, as India raced to 260 for 5, just four short of the overall T20I record. It was all set up by Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, who decided quite early that 200 wasn't enough. They kept going, Sharma smashed his way to the joint-fastest T20 hundred. And Rahul assisted him well with 89 off 49 balls. Thisara Perera did very well in the tough overs, but didn't have much to show for it. They will need to keep going too to stand a chance.

KL Rahul: "Felt like a spectator. I was telling him, 'it's unfair man, can't hit balls with so much ease'. Once we got a few boundaries and sixes, we were off. We tried to assess conditions in the first six. I told Rohit, 'there was one more double-hundred for the taking.'"
