Mark Kidger: ""Off stump line, closes his eyes and swats at it, doesn't work for the best of them. Won't work for him." Varun, you are obviously too young to remember Ian Botham in the 1981 Ashes, taking his eyes off the ball and swatting a Dennis Lillee bouncer that was aimed right between his eyes, far over the boundary for six! There is a wonderful photo of the shot: "he misses, I hit!"" --- Here's a video!

Kyle: "We'll see what Mickey Arthur says about the quality of the pitch now :P"

Altaf Khan: "Weird!Pakistani bowlers were not celebrating each wicket the way they normally do,it could either have had something to do with Sarfaraz's remark or they didn't to go over board."

Umar: "That was a strong comeback by Pakistan. Guess the 5 bowlers stratedgy helped. "

Alan Hardy: "Dreadful collapse - 7-33 in 17.2 overs - can SA get a few wickets in the next 10?"

Raheel: "Couple of hour ago, people were quite critical of this bowling attack and now ....:-)"

Thys: "And just as it seemed a test in this series would get to day 4, the South African middle order and tail deals a great blow to such optimism."

4:43pm Well then: 7 for 33! That's the story for South Africa. Pakistan came out after with a hairdryer from Micky and Sarfraz, it appeared. Not that they don't get that on the best of days, but it has been especially effective today. Was nice for them too that reverse swing became a factor, and when it did, they were practically unplayable. A dramatic collapse beginning with De Bruyn walking across the stumps to Abbas and trapping himself in front. He'd survived a few lbw shouts today, but not that one. Bavuma was tentative, and so was Hamza after Bavuma went. A complete change in body language ensued and Pakistan rattle through the lower order. We'll be back in ten minutes.
