1.25pm That's the highest total for Bangladesh in an ODI against West Indies in West Indies. Mushfiqur Rahim gives them the surge they needed in the end. But has that come a little too late? Tamim and Shakib took way too long to switch gears. They played vital hands, mind you, after Bangladesh had lost an early wicket, but they needed to accelerate a lot earlier, and you just got the sense that they slowed down as they approached their hundreds. When that intent finally came, from Shakib first, he perished short of his hundred.. Tamim went on to get one.. the slowest hundred by a Bangladesh batsman in ODIs. A decent acceleration in the last two overs.. this is a competitive total but could they have aimed for 20-30 more?
