1.10PM Meanwhile, over in Alur, India A have been bowled out for 217 in 49 overs. Prasidh Krishna took 4 for 50 in eight, while Shreyas Gopal had 2 for 38 in ten. Dharmendrasinh Jadeja - yes he's a left-arm spinner from Saurashtra and often darts the ball in - had 1 for 25 in ten.
And news from Shashank on Mayank Agarwal's injury: "Mayank Agarwal is back on the field, with a taped left webbing. He should be able to open the batting for India B."
12.50PM Australia took a short while to get into the groove after some tight opening overs, but after that, there was no stopping them. D'Arcy Short had a good outing, while Matt Renshaw showed an impressive range of strokeplay, hardly ever hitting the ball violently but still scoring at 8.5 runs per over. Head did the bulk of the scoring, holding the innings together and keeping Australia on course for a good total. He had Marnus Labuschagne for company, who looked good for a hundred of his own too, and played a fine knock. Agar provided the cherry on top with three hits to the boundary in four balls in the last over.
A bad day for the South African bowlers, but Khaya Zondo might want to look back at his bowling choices too. Dwaine Pretorius gave up only 36 runs in 8 overs - and should have bowled his full quota, being easily the most economical.
