He played sweeps of all sorts to spin and seam alike to keep the score ticking over, and seemed to have set a platform with Christiaan Jonker. But Paarl Rocks finished very well with the ball, taking six wickets and conceding just 28 in the last five overs. Wiese was effective throughout, but the wickets were shared around. One concern for Rocks was their catching - they put several chances down, and their target is higher than it could have been. Join us in a few minutes for the second innings.
