Beuran Hendricks to Star Sports: Just tried to keep it simple. There was a bit in the wicket, so just tried to use it. There was a bit of swing as well. We were struggling in the beginning there, but the guys stuck to it and pulled it back really well. I was a little bit off my game for a period, but [I've been helped by] just sticking to it and improving every game."

Ramesh: "Spare a thought for shamsi. 2 sixes of first 2 balls and then came back strongly and gave away only 11 off his next 22 balls. Fantastic comeback "

Sumit: "That went reeeeeaaaaallly high and gained plenty of speed as it descended. This part of your commentary in 19.1 is scientifically incorrect" -- Was it? Have I misunderstood the concept of acceleration due to gravity all these years?

8.38pm This pitch began looking pretty flat, but as the ball grew older and South Africa switched to bowling lots of slower ones, it got progressively difficult to bat on. You could see that from the way a hitter as good as Hardik Pandya struggled to get going. Having said that, is 139 anywhere near enough of a total? We will have to wait and watch. South Africa have certainly bowled really well.

Rabada to Saini, 1 bye, slower one, angling into leg stump. Saini, looking to make room and carve over the covers, misses, and they chance a bye and get it, de Kock missing the stumps at his end with an underarm flick

Ashish: "3 outstanding high catches already taken by SA fielders- calm, composed no fuss!"
