New Zealand will start at 0 for 5. The target remains 421.

Australia declare Warner remains unbeaten on 111. Australia set New Zealand 421 runs to win. Huge task for New Zealand ahead. But they start 5 runs to the good because of the penalty for running on the pitch. Which has sparked some debate.

Jon Kerr: "@tb: because allowance must be made for the batsman being able to play a shot that protects his wicket or scores, AND his moving into the danger area. Warner played the shot and then moved out of the danger area"

Henry: "@tb - surely you jest? He immediately veered off as he was running, batsmen can't be expected to simply run sideways straight away then run forwards. Like bowlers can keep going straight and need to veer as soon as possible, Warner did the same."

sam khan: "Excellent decision by Dar. Both batsmen ran down the pitch (3-4 steps) before getting off it. You play your shot and get off the danger area right away. Its not different to what bowlers do and get warning for running on the pitch. "

Henry to Labuschagne, OUT, caught at long on! Labuschagne falls short of scoring 900 runs in the five Test over the summer! He sacrificed his wicket really chasing runs. It was full in the slot, he cleared the front leg and heaved it to long on but straight down Latham's throat

tb: "How's that unfair? He ran straight on the pitch right after the unofficial warning to the other batsman. Has to move away just like bowlers have to. (Bowlers also can't bowl after two warnings) "
