2.11pm South Africa take a healthy lead of 71 although they would have wanted much more after NZ were 91 for 5. But then came Colin de Grandhomme's second Test century in spectacular counter-attacking fashion, to stitch a century stand with Mitchell for the sixth wicket that continued till the third morning. SA eventually couldn't get de Grandhomme out, as he ran out of partners, and Rabada, who had started with two early wickets, has finished with a five-for, the 11th of his Test career.

Robbie: "Bet CDG is regretting that quick single now. "

Agnes Kaumosi: "Arguably only Mitchell and maybe Young got out due to good bowling. The rest of the team basically got themselves out, strangled down leg or a bad leave. Needed better application. "

Ashwin: "With the way the wicket has played, looks like 350 is the bare minimum required target...draw sounds like a likely result"

Rabada to Henry, OUT, Rabada gets five as Henry holes out as well, straight to deep point off the short ball. Short and slightly wide outside off, he goes for the upper cut first ball and sends it straight to the fielder in the deep

MJ Henry c van der Dussen b Rabada 0 (2m 1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Matt Henry the last man

Rabada to Wagner, OUT, holes out to fine leg! He bangs it in short, Wagner was waiting for it, pulls it late and fine on the leg side, but absolutely straight to Jansen around his waist height. Four each for Rabada and Jansen now

Rabada to de Grandhomme, 1 run, nearly a run-out! It's just the second ball and they want a quick single, not sure why. de Grandhomme taps it to cover point and takes off, Wagner responds too and slides his bat in, but had Elgar's throw struck, Wagner was gone for sure

Rabada to de Grandhomme, 2 runs, pretty wide outside off and he drives it square into the covers, to the right of deep point for two

Rabada for the penultimate over before the new ball. Probably warming up before the new cherry, and Maharaj was leaking a few against Wagner too

Danish Mohammed: "This is CDG's highest Test Score!!!"
