We have it confirmed that Australia will bat again, no follow-on

4.51pm Australia finally end the last stand worth 43 which must have frustrated the hosts although they also dropped two catches, one of each of the batters. But they won't complain much after folding West Indies for 214, taking a lead of as many as 297 runs, and we'll go into the dinner break now. It was an eventful first session when most of West Indies' hopes rested on Chanderpaul and he was run out on the fourth ball of the morning before Lyon kept going after the visitors, got two wickets today, and Starc returned to wrap things up after even Phillip was run out. West Indies will rue those run outs more than anything today and we'll update you soon on the follow-on situation.

Abhijeet: "Cam Green and Warner should open here and Marnus and Smith should hold them back at 5-6 and give some exposure to middle order, too much reliant 2-3 batters in the line up."

Steve : "Neser getting massively under bowled. Pick of the bowlers last night yet bowled at least 4 less overs than the other frontline quicks. Get some nes"

Manthan Jain: "Almost forgot that Smith is captain until this drs......."

Starc to Chase, OUT, taken this time, at deep fine leg! Starc banged it in short with two fielders in the deep, Chase went after it with a swivel and skied it behind square, where Lyon came in from the deep and got his hands under it just in time with a forward dive

Lyon to Mindley, no run, big and loud appeal for caught behind mainly from Smith at first slip, Lyon has not even reacted. Smith says "I thought he hit it," and decides to review it on his own. Mindley drove the length ball outside off and was beaten, there's nothing on HotSpot and "daylight between bat and ball" says the third umpire with nothing on Snicko either. Not out it is

Afeef: "There's always plenty of entertainment in stubborn 10th wicket partnerships "

Starc to Mindley, SIX, what timing! On the pads, Mindley nonchalantly flicks that off the pads with minimal power, just a flick of the wrists and that has sailed over the long-leg boundary in no time. That came out of nowhere!

Starc to Mindley, no run, dropped by the keeper this time! Starc gets the outside edge as Mindley pokes at the length ball outside off, it goes to Carey's right, but his initial movement was to the left, goes in his right glove and pops out

Jed: "Hey Vishal, when Australia break this partnership and take a 200 lead, do you think they'll enforce the following and bowl again under lights?" Unlikely, I'd say, given their bowling injuries and workload management
