2.16pm Australia declare Not quite sure what Cummins achieved there by first walking out to bat after Starc got out and then batting on past the drinks break for just three balls. But Australia have declared and set a mammoth 444 for India to win the World Test Championship. They would need to break the world record fourth innings chase on an up and down pitch. Australia have 47 overs left in the day to bowl and 90 more tomorrow provided their over-rate is good and the weather remains good. Alex Carey finishes 66 not out. That was a sensational innings in the context of the game. The pitch was challenging in the morning session and Jadeja had it spitting from outside the left-handers off stump and Carey played with great composure and incredible fluency. Starc was a willing ally and played well for his 41. Australia need 10 wickets for the WTC title. India need 444. If they survive without making the runs, the trophy will be shared.

Thanks KK. Aditya: "When's the Declaration!!" Good question Aditya. Most of Australia's players have their whites on in the change rooms. Not much difference between 442 and 450 or 460.
Is it drinks? Or have Australia declared? Or are they changing the ball? They're changing the ball. And they're taking drinks as well. It's time for Alex to step in once again.

Just the one slip for Carey as Siraj continues from oveer the wicket.
Three slips for Cummins.
The lead is now 433. Pat Cummins, who may have a declaration number in his mind, walks out at No. 9. Siraj goes over the wicket to Carey.
Ikram: "Highest run chase is 418, if India chase this score then they are true champions. I don't think India will score even 300 in 2nd innings. Australia should declare now"
Dashmeet: "Ind is playing 3d chess here. Tiring Aus's bowers by making them bat longer."
