3.24pm Ashwin goes past James Anderson's 32 five-wicket hauls in Tests. Only Herath, Kumble, Hadlee, Warne and Murali ahead of him. Murali of course has 67, which nobody will ever beat, but Warne at No. 2 has 37 five-fors, which Ashwin could go past.

West Indies won the toss, and have been bowled out in 65 overs. It was a disappointing showing on a pretty batting-friendly pitch. Debutant Alick Athanaze was the one bright spot for them, but it was quite bleak elsewhere. Apart from Tagenarine Chanderpaul, others just took on good balls, and perished to those risks.
