5:16pm A rather frenetic end to what was otherwise a sedate day of action. West Indies ground out seven wickets and ultimately end the day ahead, but they will not have the luxury of enforcing the follow-on. Alzarri picked up three for the hosts and you could sense the smoke coming out of his ears towards the end. Shamar and Roach popped up with a wicket apiece, with Greaves and Seales bagging two-wicket-hauls.

As for Bangladesh, well, their batters, simply put, could not do what Athanaze, Greaves or Louis managed. Only one of their top eight failed to get into double digits, but none of them crossed 53. They did not lose wickets in a heap, but they also did not do enough to wrestle the advantage away from the hosts. They have it all to do tomorrow and if they are to turn things around, they will need a huge performance from their bowlers.

Alzarri Joseph: It (the pitch) was a bit slow. We have our plans for each batter and we try to target them differently. (On which wicket pleased him the most) I think the first one - the setup was pretty good. (On what they could have done differently today) Probably stayed a bit more patient after lunch.
