4pm South Africa's session as Pakistan are effectively 122 for 8. Pakistan started positively through Babar and Shakeel. They managed to get a four per over for quite some time, both batting fluently. Babar also brought up his first Test fifty since December 2022. But that fluency - aided by the extra bounce proved to be his downfall as he slapped one shortish ball straight to deep cover-point. That opened the floodgates and Jansen made use of it to complete a five-for. Shakeel still in the middle but it is a question of how long he can help stretch Pakistan's lead.
