Scorer: Ranjith P | Commentator: Deivarayan Muthu

2.30pm India captain Rohit collects the trophy from the BCCI vice-president and gets together with his team-mates. He hands the trophy over to Akash Deep as they celebrate in Kanpur. Gambhir also has a smile on his face. That's all we have for you from this Test series. Until next time, this is Deivarayan Muthu signing off on the behalf of Vishal Dikshit, Hemant Brar, S Sudarshanan and P Ranjith. Take care and cheers.

1.56pm That is that. Kohli and Pant exchange handshakes. Ashwin and Gambhir embrace each other in the Indian dressing room. Rohit warmly welcomes back Pant and Kohli. Despite two days of no play, India have found a way to win in Kanpur and sweep Bangladesh 2-0. In fact, they've finished the job with more than a session left. They've been so dominant that they've beaten the weather, clock, and Bangladesh, who came into this tour on the back of a famous 2-0 series win in Pakistan. As a result, India extend their lead at top of the WTC points table. Vishal's report will tell you the full story of the day. Do stick around for the post-match presentation.

Rohit, India captain: In life, we all keep moving on and at some stage, you work with different personnel [on working with Gambhir]. When Rahul [Dravid] bhai said he was done, it was a fantastic time we had together. Then life moves on and as a team we had to move on. With Gautam Gambhir...I've played with him and I know what sort of mindset he has. Early days still but very fruitful. To be honest we had to think a lot to keep the game moving forward. When we came on day four, we wanted to get them [Bangladesh] out as early as possible and see what we can do with the bat. It was not about the runs we get but the overs we wanted to bowl at them. The pitch didn't have much for bowlers but to get a game out of that pitch was a great effort from the bowlers. The batters were willing to take the risk and we were ready to give ourselves a chance at a result. Look, Akash has been good and he's played a lot domestic cricket. There's enough overs in the legs and the guy can do the job the team is expecting him to do. He can bowl long spells and we want to create a bunch of bowlers who are ready to play Test cricket at any given point. If someone is injured, you should be able to replace them.

Bumrah: I don't think about adjectives...It's just good to get the win after we lost two days. Really special win today. So, in this you use your experience. Yes, it's easier said than done. This [Kanpur pitch] was different to what it was in Chennai. We try to communicate and solve the problem in front of you. As I said, we've played a lot of cricket in India and understand the nature of the wicket. You find options and discuss with senior players. I'm also in a role now where I help other bowlers (laughs). He [Deep] comes up to me quite a lot and asks me 'what you think I should do?' He's got a lot of heart and whenever he bowls, he gives his best. Yeah, after the World Cup, we got a break and were prepping for the Test series and you understand the number of overs you bowl. We have a long Test series [in Australia] and that's why he had that break.

Ashwin, Player of the Series: Honestly, I'm glad to turn up performances for the team. A massive win for us in the context of where the WTC points table stands. I mean, I think with regards to this game, when we bowled them out after lunch, Rohit gave that talk that we wanted to go for it. He stepped out and hit the first ball for six and he set that tone. How Jassi [Bumrah] bowled, how Siraj and Akash bowled, you don't have to say much about Jaddu. Proud to be part of this attack. We expect a team with such experience to make those adjustments. I don't use the carrom ball as much as I do in white-ball cricket and it's about building a spell and getting into the rhythm.

Jaiswal, Player of the Match: Nothing. The situation was different in Chennai and it was different here. 100% every game and every innings is important. I try my best for that and that's how I prepare. We had a chat that we need to play freely and in our mind we wanted to win the game and we were just going for it.

Shanto, Bangladesh captain: We didn't bat well... Yes, if you look at all batters, they played 30-40 balls and then got out. It's important for one batsman to get big runs. The way Ashwin and Jaddu batted, but you need to take wickets in those moments. The way we bowled both innings - I hope Mehidy continues well in next Test match.

Sampath Bandarupalli: Yashasvi Jaiswal's strike rate of 128.12 in this match is the third-highest for any batter with two fifty-plus scores in a Test match (where data available). He is also the first Indian to reach fifties in both innings of a Test match in less than 50 balls.

Siddhant: "Sometime you see Runs, centuries, record but Rohit Sharma is above all that with his great intent. Two sixes on the first two balls to set the tone for this tiny possibility of win. Trust me it was above many great knocks." --- Good time to revisit Al Muthu's terrific piece on Rohit's sixes that woke up a dead game

Sabyasachi : "Meanwhile, two India discards are rescuing Mumbai in Irani Cup."

Vibhash Jain: "Ashwin has won more POTS than POTM! Unreal.. Just Ash Anna things!

Bashir: "BD now drops to 7th position in WTC points table, not long ago they were on high after flooring Pakistan."

Ranjit b: "Australia used to have this mindset of seeking win out of nowhere. today, India showed the intent and got the result. best motivation.

Raghu: "This Indian team is different level, ruthless performance! As a millennial, its a joy to watch this team. "

Sunil : "I must say the WTC is the best thing to happen to Test cricket in recent times. We've had too many dreary series with no context in the past. Competing in the WTC gives teams a motivation to win even dead rubbers. Aggressive approaches are reviving audience interest in Tests now. India's refreshing approach in this test has to be particularly lauded. Now if only someone could revive ODIs!

RajatMaheshwari: "India within a span of 9 months have been part of two of the most contrasting matches, one in Cape Town and one over here. There it was all about Siraj and fast bowlers wreaking havoc and here it was all about intent shown by Indian batsman in the first innings."

Rags: "India demonstrated real bazball in Kanpur"

Peter: "My man of the match and the series goes to Ashwin!!!
