21.2 caught at second slip! Brilliant catch from Southee. 133kph, very full outside off, he drives hard, it just swung a touch late, he edges and it flies to the right of Southee at second, he sticks the right hand out, it bounces out and he holds the rebound diving backwards. Superb catch. 61/2
0.4 through him! What a start. The stuff that dreams are made of. Boult gets it spot on, full and straight, shapes back into the right hander and goes through the gap between bat and pad as he drives. Burns caught flat-footed. That's perfect for New Zealand 1/1
49.5 bowled off the elbow as he was leaving! Unbelievable! Good length outside off, he leaves but this bounced a lot higher than expected, it comes of his right elbow as he was leaving it and ricochets onto off stump! 144/3
104.4 caught in the gully! A one hander from Nicholls and the bouncer does the trick! This was a brute of a bumper, he tried to ride it defending but it go big on him, it ballooned off the handle of the bat and the glove, flies high over gully, Nicholls jumps up and reaches back with the right hand and hangs on in the fingers. Great catch 284/5
73.3 caught behind! Finally. He deserved that. 122kph, wobbling outside off, he was tempted to drive but he was playing for inswing, it just hit the seam and nipped away, got a thin edge that carried nicely to Watling. Nice reward for CdG. He's bowled well 216/4

152.2 taken at cover! A low full toss, again giving himself room, slices it in the air for a simple catch...some late rewards for Wagner 458/8
148.1 big appeal for lbw, and out on the DRS! Erasmus said not out and Williamson calls for the review. A good length ball from round the wicket, shapes in, takes him on the knee roll, looks to be outside the line. Well, it's not! It's three reds and Paine is gone. 434/6
149.1 finds mid-off! Well, that plan didn't work from Australia. Round the wicket, a full delivery, he aims a big shot straight down the ground but it comes off the toe of the bat 435/7

153.3 chipped to midwicket! A low full toss and all he can do is flick it in the air, Latham jumps to take it above his head 463/9
155.1 taken at long leg...Wagner has a hand in the last wicket, but it's with a catch. A short ball from Southee, Lyon couldn't keep his hook down. Neat catch after a long time in the field 467/10

46.3 Cummins wins the battle! Latham's concentration lapses for a second. This ball is a touch wider, he goes for the drive away from his body, and it's a thick edge for Paine. The relentlessness of Cummins takes the honours 112/7
5.4 caught behind! Loose shot. 146kph, fuller length, angled in, he was lured to drive hard but feet weren't there, it just nipped away, thin edge, easy catch for Paine. Cummins worked him over. Pushed him back and back and then offered up a drive and got his man 23/1
12.2 skied pull shot caught by Paine! New Zealand hearts sink as the Melbourne crowd roar for their man! Banged in short and wide outside off, 140kph, he took it on trying to pull forward of square but the bounce was too much to handle, got a top edge that flew high towards fine leg, Paine ran a long way, settled and took a good running catch 39/2
20.1 taken on the rebound from third to first slip! Full outside off, Taylor pushing forward, it's a think edge to third slip where Labuschagne can only parry it in the air, but the ball goes straight up in the air and Burns grabs it from first slip 46/3
20.2 gone first ball! Cummis is on fire, although Nicholls called the review. Round the wicket to the left hander, it's full and straight, Nicholls plays around it, taken on the knee roll. Will bounce save him? No, it won't! Umpire's call on hitting the top of leg stump 46/4
25.2 edged, taken at first slip! It's carnage out there. Short of a length at off stump, makes Watling play, the delivery rises to take the shoulder of the bat, and a touch of a glove, and it loops slowly to Burns. That was a brilliant delivery 58/5
36.1 caught in the gully! That was inevitable. He had played and missed so often. 141kph, short of a length, angled across, he just pushed at it needlessly with no footwork, it pops off the shoulder of the bat and loops to Warner in the gully. Easy catch 97/6
47.6 edged, caught behind! It just felt like a matter of time. Full outside off, Santner edging forward, the ball just grazes the outside edge as it straighten on the angle from round the wicket. Classy bowling from Pattinson 116/8
50.6 regulation edge, five for Cummins! That was a working over. Short of a length outside off, Southee plays away from his body again and this time it's a thin edge. Another one for Paine 124/9

20.1 finds cover! Giving himself room outside leg against a short-of-a-length delivery, makes good connection but it's straight to the man in front of square 62/1
33.6 caught behind! A little bottom edge trying to dab a late cut. Pushed through wide of off, he tried to run it fine but got a tickle off the glove and Watling takes a nice catch. It took awhile for Marais Erasmus to give it out but there was never any doubt. Perhaps he was waiting for Burns to walk 110/3
31.1 is Labuschagne run out? He is! He went back and tucked it behind square, and took on the fielder at short fine and was burnt. Latham was close at short fine. He fired to Santner at the bowler's end, it was an awkward take but he did well to gather and get the bails off with Labuschagne just short! 100/2
34.4 caught at backward square! 200 Test wickets for Wagner! He's the second-fastest Black Cap behind Sir Richard Hadlee to the milestone. Another short ball, another wicket. It was only just above hip high, he tried to paddle a pull shot around the corner, got a top edge that just loops to Southee who is positioned at a catching backward square! Could not have picked him out better if he tried 110/4

8.4 caught behind! Excellent catch by Paine. 139kph, wide and full, enticing the drive, it just tailed across rather than shaping in, he gets a thick edge trying to drive, Paine diving low to his left pouches it well. Pattinson the man break through 32/1
70.6 caught at mid on! Lyon takes this one! That's the end of the Test. They're shaking hands. The umpires are sending the catch upstairs to check. It was tossed up, he miscued a lofted drive flat to mid on, Lyon caught it cleanly. His fingers were under it. The replays show that clearly despite boos from the New Zealand fans. 240/10
11.2 Given lbw! Williamson must review. He does. This looked leg side. It was angled in but it did stay low. He shuffled back and across. He was hit just at the top of the knee roll. Nothing on hot spot or RTS. Virtual Eye ball tracking says clipping leg! Just! Barely nicking it. Umpire's call and it stays out! 33/2
11.6 chopped on! 137kph, short and wide, he tried to thrash a cut shot and dragged it on off the bottom edge! Maybe just held in the pitch a touch, maybe not wide enough. It wasn't a great ball and the cut is Taylor's strength. But he dragged it on and flattened middle stump 35/3
29.2 Is he stumped? Paine is celebrating! Nicholls is walking. He is out. Magnificent piece of bowling. Just got lobbed for six. The next is perfectly pitched with drift and drop and it rips past the edge as Nicholls strides too far forward to defend. He dragged his back foot out of the crease and didn't get it back as Paine whipped the bails off. 89/4
49.2 taken at leg slip! Lovely piece of bowling. Wider outside off, spins sharply, Watling playing forward and the inside edge flies straight between the batsman and the stumps to Warner. Very alert to grab that, even though it was straight at him 161/5
51.4 picks out backward square leg! Big Colin wasn't interesting in hanging around. He comes down the pitch, it's a touch shorter and slower, de Grandhomme nowhere near it, flicks in the air and it's a simple catch 172/6
65.5 caught behind! Lyon too good. Lovely shape and length, he was unsure whether to go forward or back, caught on the crease, it bit and turned as he defended away from his body, got a little tickle and Paine took a good catch 212/7
67.2 A horror mix up! Southee gone. He just pushed this to the gap at cover, it was an easy single, but they started to run and then stopped! There was all sorts of hesitation. Southee didn't run so Blundell ran back and then Southee ran, Pattinson cruised around the threw it to Paine with both men at the other end. Southee trudges off 214/8
