- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR49.1 outside edge, and snaffled at first slip! Well taken by Cornwall since that was coming rather quickly. Nissanka drove at that full ball slightly wide of off while playing away from his body, and with a horizontal bat too. But the ball flew off his outside edge for an easy take by first slip. Nissanka fails to convert, and West Indies have one after almost waiting for ages, including burning two reviews on the way 139/199.5 beats him again outside off, the keeper has whipped the bails off quickly and he's appealing for a stumping! Lovely offbreak outside off, tighter than the previous ball, and the turn beat Karunaratne's outside edge as he leaned forward. UltraEdge shows no edge, but the stumping call is really, really close. From the off side angle it looks like there's hardly anything behind the crease, the leg angle shows there might be something. The third umpire wants all the angles, including stumpcam. He uses all of them, and stump cam also shows his foot is actually outside 296/557.3 taken at short leg, West Indies will be delighted! At 80kmh and some turn, the length is that kind which draws batter forward and Oshada's inside edge went to Bonner's right. He grabs it on second attempt and bangs it into the ground in celebration 164/265.1 he has thrown this away, Angelo Mathews by holing out to deep midwicket! Came down the track but the length wasn't one to smash it away and there was a fielder in the deep. Mathews still goes for the swing, miscues it, and it goes high enough for Holder to run in and dive forward in the end to grab with both hands. Quite apt that after all the hardworking, Holder is involved in a wicket, and it counts as Chase's second 170/394.4 he's played on in really strange fashion, in fact it might count as hit wicket! Gabriel gets the breakthrough. Gabriel angles the ball in towards the stumps from length, de Silva defends and the ball is headed to land on the stumps after pitching near him, but de Silva looks back and wants to swat the ball away and ends up hitting the stumps with a swipe. He swiped once, missed both the ball and the stumps, tried again and knocked over the leg stump 281/4127.4 the reverse sweep has been taken at slip by Cornwall! As soon as Chandimal changed his stance for the reverse, Cornwall took a couple of steps towards his left and the ball landed straight into his safe hands. That's the big wicket West Indies wanted, and Chase has got it 361/8112.6 and Warrican finally has a wicket after hours of hard work! Turn, bounce, dip and the outside edge - all these make a fantastic recipe for a spinner after all. The ball lands on a teasing good length on off, and turns away while dipping with Mendis coming forward to defend. But there is just enough to take the thumb of his bottom hand to the keeper, who is immediately up in celebration. Sri Lanka lose a wicket just before lunch 331/6124.4 changes the length and reaps the reward straightaway with an lbw! After all those full balls, he pitches one slightly shorter on middle stump, it skids on and pushes Lakmal on the back foot, he plays across the line but he's too late and he's struck right in front. Won't help reviewing that 355/7128.1 and he gets one more, a top-edge lands in the hands of midwicket. Chameera goes for a big sweep against the turn by moving his front leg out of the way, not getting into a great position for that shot, and ends up top-edging one on the leg side. Brathwaite had enough time to get under that 361/9133.5 Chase has his fourth five-for in Tests, and so ends Embuldeniya's party! Sees one tossed up full on off stump, and he opens the bat face to go aerial again. But instead he ends up slicing it high toward extra cover, where the fielder takes a few steps forward and grab it low to complete a good catch 386/10Extras19 (b 5, lb 6, nb 8)TOTAL386 all out (133.5 Overs, RR: 2.88)Fall of wickets: 1-139 (Pathum Nissanka, 49.1 ov), 2-164 (Oshada Fernando, 57.3 ov), 3-170 (Angelo Mathews, 65.1 ov), 4-281 (Dhananjaya de Silva, 94.4 ov), 5-296 (Dimuth Karunaratne, 99.5 ov), 6-331 (Ramesh Mendis, 112.6 ov), 7-355 (Suranga Lakmal, 124.4 ov), 8-361 (Dinesh Chandimal, 127.4 ov), 9-361 (Dushmantha Chameera, 128.1 ov), 10-386 (Lasith Embuldeniya, 133.5 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR31.6 nabbed at leg slip! Mendis gets the big fish. Brathwaite looks to tickle that good length ball on middle toward square leg or thereabouts, as the bat face closes while taking the inside half of the bat toward the man placed behind him, who pouches it to his right. There was turn into the right-hander again, and Brathwaite fell for it this time. West Indies lose their captain in what could prove to be a crucial blow toward the end of the day 80/320.1 loud, loud appeal for lbw and the umpire gives it after a thought! Blackwood also uses the review. There's no bat for sure. The loopy delivery pitched around middle and leg and struck him right in front, as Blackwood leaned forward to defend, it's going to hit leg stump, confirms ball-tracking, and West Indies lose a wicket and a review 46/123.5 edges it late and that's taken at slip! Jayawickrama strikes as well. Bonner covered the line of the off stump and waited for the ball to land in front of him, turn just a bit away, and then poked as the ball had good bounce, and it went past Chandimal's gloves before it was snapped by a diving de Silva to his left with both hands 51/233.1 sharp take by short leg! Hope is gone too. The ball got stuck between Oshada's left arm and his chest, as Hope clipped that short of a length ball on middle and off from deep in his crease while trying to slam it across the line. Instead, he rams it right to the man placed, as Mendis has come on and turned the screws in style for his side. He is also on a hat-trick now, having got Brathwaite last ball 83/439.6 Mendis the magician! And short leg is sharp again. Another one bites the dust, as Chase comes forward to defend this full ball on middle and off, but the ball takes his inside edge on its way to Oshada at short leg, who continues watching the ball until the last moment before pouching it low toward his left. Things looking more and more grim for West Indies now 100/636.5 it has been given caught behind, but Warrican has reviewed. The ball is tossed up again on a full length on middle, and then turns away from the right-hander, who is forward to try and defend. There is a gap between his bat and pad, and replays show there is a clear outside edge as the ball goes on its way to the keeper behind after taking sharp turn too. West Indies lose their second review 86/557.1 Spectacular catch from Dimuth Karunaratne! This isn't a particularly remarkable DDS ball - it pitches on off, straightens off the surface. But perhaps it holds in the pitch a little, because Mayers pushes at it and is through the shot too early, He hits it a distance to the right of Karunaratne at short cover, but Dimuth takes a flying leap and somehow manages to get his right hand to it and holds on. 163/760.4 another excellent catch by Sri Lanka, this time by Chameera at point! He dives to his right to nab that with both hands, making full use of his height on that occasion as he had to cover some ground. Jayawickrama give the ball a lot of flight, and bowled short and wide of off again. Holder went for the cut too, trying to slash away from his body. But the bounce off the pitch meant the ball ballooned off the top edge of his bat to point 175/879.6 falls on the last ball before the new ball is available, he's top-edged to square leg! Cornwall will be disappointed with himself for the timing and the dismissal both. Nearly got to the fifty stand after all that resistance, and he can't resist pulling against the short ball. Lakmal bangs it in short, Cornwall pulls from just outside off, it hurries on to him so he doesn't get on top of it, and the top-edge goes towards square leg where Ramesh runs back to get both hands to it 224/985.5 big appeal for lbw as he's struck him straight on the show, and Dharmasena raises the finger. Gabriel reviews straightaway. Hint of drift to get the ball in, hits the front of the shoe on the full and ball-tracking shows it's going to rattle the stumps so it's all over for West Indies. - BATSMENRBM4s6sSR2.3 gets a wicket finally on third attempt, he's caught down the leg side at leg slip! Flight on middle and leg, Nissanka wants to sweep it away again but only manages some glove and it's a sharp diving catch to his right by Shai Hope. Nissanka reviews but it can't save him because there is glove for sure 4/136.4 taken at first slip, and Dimuth's hopes of a second hundred is shattered! The ball ballooned off Da Silva's gloves, and instead landed in the hands of first slip, who ended up with an easy catch. Dimuth went for the cut again, with the ball being short of a length and outside off. But get a top edge this time - perhaps because of the extra bounce - thus ending a very dominating innings of 83 162/311.5 appeal for leg before, and given! Oshada comes forward to have a chat with Dimuth, and eventually decides not to review. That ball came on with the arm, and pitched on a good length on middle and off stump. He went for the flick to the on side but missed while almost playing from a middle-stump line while perhaps anticipating the turn. But the ball went on straight to hit his front pad, enough to excite the West Indies side. Replays show the ball would have gone on to hit the leg stump 39/237.6 popped back, and gone! Warrican takes an easy return catch, and it is a soft dismissal. He pitched the ball on a short of a length around middle stump, as DDS went deep in his crease to push at that with the turn away from him. Instead he ended up simply lobbing it back for a simple catch after allowing it to turn, as Warrican took it low to his right 163/4Extras11 (b 8, lb 2, nb 1)TOTAL191/4d (40.5 Overs, RR: 4.67)Fall of wickets: 1-4 (Pathum Nissanka, 2.3 ov), 2-39 (Oshada Fernando, 11.5 ov), 3-162 (Dimuth Karunaratne, 36.4 ov), 4-163 (Dhananjaya de Silva, 37.6 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR3.4 swivels while trying to pull, and misses, as the ball hits his back leg. Huge appeal for leg before, and that is given. Brathwaite reviews though. Short of a length ball landing just outside off, and turning just enough. There is no bottom edge as Brathwaite looks to pull, as the ball strikes his back thigh while he swivels. Replays show the ball would have crashed into the top of middle stump. And so West Indies lose their captain, and a review. Their not-so-good reviewing continues 3/16.4 gifted away by Blackwood! It is good, low catch at mid-on by Mathews, but Blackwood waits with the umpire going upstairs to confirm. The soft signal is out though. Mathews had to go low toward his right to complete the grab, since the ball was dying on toward him. Replays show the ball carried well enough for it to remain out, as so Blackwood walks back; in fact, he has already crossed the rope by the time those replays finish. Surprising shot there. He tried to hoick that pitched up ball on middle across the line by clearing his front leg, but ended up lobbing it 11/29.1 strikes the middle and leg stumps, and he is castled! Good length ball on middle and leg, and goes on quickly with the arm. There is no turn there, but Hope looks to clip that away to the on side with his front leg out of the way. The ball takes a little tickle of his back leg, which is deep in the crease, and goes on to smash into the stumps a little on the higher side. Another blow for West Indies 14/310.2 through the gate, and gone! The ball is full on middle, and dipping toward the batter with good revs as well, as Chase comes forward to defend with his bat on off stump and his front foot on leg. That leaves a decent enough gap for the ball to dart through, as it went on straight after pitching, with Chase playing for the turn 15/411.3 more fun for Mendis, and more finger-lifting for the umpire! Mayers shoulders arms to this full ball on off, which comes on with the arm. His front leg is almost on middle stump, as the ball crashes into his back pad, which is lying right in front of the stumps. Half the West Indies side is gone with 18 on the board. Replays show the ball would have shattered middle and off 18/511.4 bowled him. Two in two! Mendis on a hat-trick. Holder is left bemused after this one. The ball is on a fullish length just outside off, and goes on with the arm to just clip off stump there. Holder is playing on a middle-stump line while trying to defend - perhaps he was anticipating the turn into him, like some of his team-mates - as the ball went on to smash the stumps behind 18/656.2 Da Silva's stand comes to an end as this ball turns across Da Silva, and takes an edge to first slip. Length ball on middle and off. Da Silva goes deep to cut, but its close to his body, takes the shoulder of the bat, and first slip dives to his left. SL are delighted! 118/770.3 he goes for the big shot, and why nobody knows, because he has holed out to long-off! What have you done, Cornwall, after all the hard work done in the morning. Joshua Da Silva will be miffed with Cornwall, and others too. He gets a ball in the slot and goes high down the ground even though a long-off is stationed, and Lakmal gets under the top edge easily 149/876.6 big appeal for a catch from all around the batter, Dharmasena waits before nodding and raises his finger. Warrican asks for a review and there's a big inside edge and he was taken by silly point. Warrican has a smile on his face while walking back 156/978.6 edged and taken at slip, Sri Lanka wrap up the big win! Mendis remains on four and Embuldeniya takes five.
